The American Jazz Museum is proud to partner with the National Black United Front–Kansas City Chapter and Nefertiti Ballroom for the 44th Annual City-Wide Kwanzaa Celebration.

Day Six will take place December 31, 2025, at the historic Gem Theater (1615 East 18th Street, KCMO).

The evening begins with the African Market opening at 6:00 PM, followed by a procession and program at 7:00 PM. This year’s theme is “Triumph in a Time of Crisis.”

This event is free and open to the public.
